Our first appointment (March 23ish) went very well. We love our doctor, she is very down to earth and 'open' - which I appreciate... We got to hear our babies heartbeat, which was emotional for us because of what happened the last time 'we went to hear the heartbeat' - it wasn't there. I instantly started crying when she put the ultrasound thing on my belly because I could see 'it' bouncing around like crazy. It took Joe a second to figure out what we were looking at but, once we realized the baby was happy and healthy, he got teary too. SO CUTE! A moment I have been imagining for a long time.
Here is a picture of our growing 'athlete' or so Joe thinks... Let's hope the baby gets his coordination and agility and not mine!!
We got home we told Kade that the baby was doing well and showed him the ultrasound pictures... He decided to start drawing pictures of his little brother or sister...
Pretty good for a left-handed drawing on a right-handed little boy!
