Long time, no post.

Wow, it's been awhile. The Olschewski's have been very busy... Joe and I have been remodeling a bathroom. We have discovered that we were meant to work with each other and be our own bosses. In fact, the paperwork has been turned in to get his business licensed and insured. For now, he will be doing handyman-type stuff until I get his portfolio completed. Then, he can move towards bigger jobs and have some reference material ready for his clients. If anyone knows of anything (big or small), please feel free to contact him or me (since I am his manager and all).

Let me catch up on all that I have forgotten to blog about recently... Thanksgiving was great, with the exception of another kidney infection or hepatitis or whatever- I still don't really know what was going on at that time. We went to Pleasant View to be with my favorite grandma, aunt, uncle and cousins! Family time was a nice break... It seems like things are always go, go, go during the holidays so, it was nice to see everyone with their feet up watching football.

We didn't sleep at all Thanksgiving night and we got home around 7 AM from shopping for our 'nap'. I did not wake up until I think 5 PM. Let me tell you how hard it was to go to bed around 10 PM... The Queen of Black Friday only made it to two stores (consciously) and one store (mostly unconscious thanks to Lortab and lack of sleep). I felt like such a slacker but, I needed my beauty rest at that point in my sickness.

In addition to finishing up this remodel job, we have been prepping for CHRISTMAS - which is only like 12 days away now!!! YAY! This is my favorite time of year and my least favorite time of year. Joe and I never fight!! Never! Except during the month of December, I swear... I don't know what it is... oh wait, yes I do. I want to buy everything in sight and he won't let me. The good news is that I will love him again in January when I am grateful we still have money left over! HAHA!

My post is coming to an end but, I will leave you with a funny Kade story.

All three of us were laying in our bed watching Sportscenter as a family (I know, precious moments). The announcer said something about a team scoring 48 points in the first half. Kade jumps up, looks at me and Joe in disgust and says "can you believe those boneheads scored 48 points??" I looked at Joe, Joe looked back at me. We didn't know if we were supposed to be mad at him for saying that or laugh like crazy because he's such a cute kid... WE LAUGHED!! He has never said the word 'bonehead' and has never paid any attention to the stats on TV. It was pretty priceless. Happy Holidays Folks!
