I have been suck a slacker lately, sorry. Ever since Sunday I have felt terrible. It started with a sore throat, then crazy sinuses, then cough and body aches. I left work a few hours early on Monday and thought I would be better with some rest. Well, Monday night I could not sleep because I was coughing so bad. Kade came in our bedroom in the early AM with a seal cough too (so sad). So, Tuesday I didn't work and Kade stayed home with me! Well, I was not home all day!!! Not good, I was seriously the most miserable I had ever been. We both went to the doctor and got medicine and hoped things would get progressively better. Oh no, nothing ever goes according to plan in my life, everyone knows this... Kade went to bed at his usual 8 PM. Around 9 PM, I could hear him having a cough attack in his room. Well, when I went to check on him he had thrown up in his bed, nasty I know. So, we took care of the sheets and we sat by the open window for a few minutes and then he went back to bed. Well about and hour later the same thing happened, except this time he was really struggling to breathe. Like REALLY struggling. We went to Primary's to get steroids and a breathing treatment (I have been down this road before, multiple times). Well, we got there around midnight and we there until about four. I will say one thing, going to Primary's on Christmas Eve has its advantages. Kade left with two fleece blankets, a pair of sunglasses a stuffed moose and a sheet of stickers!! WOW! What a lucky kid. He is feeling a lot better today but, I am feeling about the same since starting antibiotics.
On a lighter note, today I am making my very first turkey. It should be interesting... We have family Christmas party tonight and I got the duty (I think my family is a little too trusting in me). I will post pics later on of this blessed event! Merry Christmas everyone!
