The Olympics and my "super crazy" life!

I have to start out with a funny story. We were in the car the other day and there was a truck towing a horse trailer. Well, all you could see of the horse was it's big brown butt. So I, like any good mother, pointed it out to Kade. He said "wow, mom horsey bum," and I said 'yep". A minute or so later he goes "mom, that horsey bum is "super crazy"!!! It was so funny, I almost drove off of the road!

As everyone knows the Olympics have rocked this year. I have never watched the Summer Olympics before this year. It seems like the whole 'Michael Phelps' thing started this whole commotion and now everyone is addicted to the TV (myself included). Joe and I have stayed up every single night since they started. We seriously will go to bed at like 1:00 AM. I am so happy they are almost over because I feel like a freakin' zombie. PS - Did everyone see Shawn Johnson win gold? She is the cutest girl ever and the best sport about the whole thing. You go girl!!

This week has been a downward spiral of commotion that will continue for the next little while. Monday: school for me, Tuesday: basketball for Joe, Wednesday: Jake's Birthday party, Thursday: baby-sit Brynny, Friday: Monika's wedding, Saturday: Lagoon, Sunday: Maddon's 1st birthday party, and then it starts all over again. I am not complaining I love my life and I love the people in it, I just wish I had a day or two to breathe. I am so lucky I have Joe, he helps to keep me relaxed. Right when I think I am about to fly off the handle he catches me. OH MAN!! I LOVE HIM!!!

Geez, I didn't realize I had so much to say. I almost forgot to mention that we just got back from Vegas a week ago. We had a blast. We got to spend some time with my mom & Doug, and Tara & Kyle. I had my first strip club experience (never thought that would happen), it was peer pressure. We had a brush with fame at the Christian Audigier nightclub inside TI (the cast of The Hills was there for the grand opening). All in all it was a good trip but, I was so excited to come home and see Kade!!

Here is a pic of us getting ready to go to my mom's friends wedding!

At the wedding we discovered Elvis's hot pink Cadi!! This is a HORRIBLE pic of me (it was like a billion degrees in Vegas) but, Joe looks hot!

Oh, did I mention that we had to sneak into the hotel room? There were only 2 beds so we had to sleep on an air mattress and avoid housekeeping and hotel employees. This is a pic of Joe pumping it up.

Once we got home Kade was excited to go home (with my hat on of course)! What a goofy face, I love his little personality.

Well, that's all I have to say for now... Happy Hump Day!
