For those who keep asking...

Here is what happened to my tailbone... On Friday, July 31 we went to Lagoon. Everything was fine until we decided to ride 'Rattlesnake Rapids'... So, we're floating down the river and everything was fine until we hit a rapid that was about to get me soaked. So I raised my bum from the seat. Well, right then the boat tipped into another rapid and threw me into the little staircase you use to get into the boat. When I got slammed into the stairs, my tailbone was the only thing that hit it... Here's a pic to serve as a visual aid. I just pulled this off the internet so I edited out this little girl. See the top stair on the left of the picture? That is where my tailbone hit, right on that corner! Next thing I knew, I was laying on the floor of the dumb boat... It must have been HILARIOUS to be Jesse, Tracey and Joe who had no idea what happened until after... They were all having fun and the next thing we knew, I was on the ground.

Now, it has been two weeks and there are no signs of improvement. I cannot sit in a chair, lay on my back, or bend over without it KILLING ME! I have been to the doctor and all they say is to take Lortab and lay down a lot! Hmm... well that's hard when your job is sitting down for 9 hours straight plus, be a mom! ARGH!! They say it's probably "dislocated" or "bruised" or "fractured" but, who really knows??

I should probably mention that this isn't my first tailbone injury. In May, I had this odd popping in my hip/tailbone but, that eventually went away (for the most part). In November, I fell into the bathtub, which was probably really funny to see!! The pain eventually went away but, it comes back when I sit for long periods or in odd positions. So now, I would like it removed! I am tired of this so I'm done. Anyone know a good coccyx remover doc?

Because of all this, I plan to do a lot of lounging this weekend. A few weeks back I created this BOMB tanning serum. Just call me the Mad Scientist!! It consists of baby oil, iodine and black tea. You can only lay out for 20-30 minutes with this stuff but, I LOVE IT!! I will be coming back to work DANGEROUSLY DARK, just like Magda! Wish me and my "dislocated" tailbone luck getting better!

Well, once upon a time when I was in Hawaii I jumped off a 60 ft. cliff and the way I landed in the water totally jacked up my tail bone! It sucked way bad. I didn't even have it checked out by a doctor or anything just cuz there really isn't much you can do :( For seriously like 4 months I sat down/laid down/bent over like I was a 80 year old grandma! It constantly hurt. The good news... it will go away! It just takes awhile :)
